Tokyo Marui MK23 SOCOM — quiet enough that people genuinely do not hear it. Supplied with the suppressor, LAM unit and hard case, which is most of a stealth loadout in one box.

The real MK23 was built for US Special Operations Command as an offensive handgun — suppressed, accurate, and intended for people whose job depended on not being heard. Tokyo Marui’s replica keeps the thing that matters most about it: with no blowback mechanism cycling, there is no slide slamming back and forth, and the report is a soft cough rather than a crack.

That single design decision is why the MK23 has stayed in demand for two decades while flashier pistols came and went. In a building at night, a non-blowback pistol with a suppressor fitted is close to silent, and there is a whole style of play built around that. It is the pistol people buy on purpose rather than as a backup.

Losing the blowback also means every scrap of gas goes into the BB rather than cycling a slide. The result is a consistent 300 to 320 FPS with an adjustable hop-up behind it, and gas efficiency that a blowback pistol cannot approach — you get far more shots per fill, which matters when a magazine holds 28 rounds.

It is a double-action trigger with a safe and semi-automatic selector, built on a polymer frame over metal alloy internals. Light in the hand for its size, and Marui’s build quality is the reason these are still working a decade after purchase.

What’s in the box

Unusually for a pistol at this price, the accessories are not an upsell. It ships with the suppressor, the LAM (Laser Aiming Module) unit, a 28-round magazine and a hard case. Buying those separately for another pistol would cost a meaningful fraction of the gun.

Good to know before you buy

It is a non-blowback pistol, so there is no slide movement and no recoil. If you want the kick of a gas blowback that is not this gun — but if you want quiet, efficiency and consistency, nothing else comes close.

These are made in limited runs and sell through quickly, so availability comes and goes. If it is showing as unavailable, ask us and we will tell you honestly when we expect the next batch.

Frequently asked questions

How quiet is it actually?
Genuinely quiet. With no blowback there is no slide noise, and with the supplied suppressor fitted the report is a soft cough. It is the quietest common platform in airsoft, which is why it has such a following for stealth play.

Why is there no blowback?
Because the real MK23 was designed as a suppressed offensive handgun. Marui replicated that, and the side effect is that all the gas goes into the BB rather than cycling a slide — so it is quieter, more efficient and more consistent shot to shot.

What gas should I use?
Standard green gas. Do not use high-pressure winter gases — see the warning below, as they can damage it.

Does the suppressor actually do anything?
On this pistol, yes. On a blowback gun most of the noise is mechanical, so a suppressor achieves little. With no slide cycling, suppressing the muzzle report is most of the job.

Is it accurate?
Very, for a pistol. The adjustable hop-up and the consistency of a non-blowback system mean it will hold a group at ranges that surprise people expecting a sidearm to be a last resort.

Do I need UKARA?
Yes — it is a realistic imitation firearm. See the notice below.

Do not use high-pressure or winter gases. Nuprol 3.0, Nuprol 4.0, Guarder Black and similar high-pressure gases will damage this pistol. Use standard green gas only — our gas range covers what is safe, and if you are unsure, ask before you fill it.
UKARA required: As a realistic imitation firearm, this product requires UKARA registration or a valid defence. We verify at checkout. Register by playing 3 games over 56+ days at Skirmish Wycombe Airsoft.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: pair it with standard green gas and a holster. See the rest of our airsoft pistols, or message us on WhatsApp to ask about the next batch.
