Some magazines simply put their feed port somewhere awkward. Extended baseplates, unusual body shapes, recessed inlets - in each case the standard output tube cannot reach far enough in, and the magazine will not load.
The extender adds that reach. It is the least glamorous adaptor in the range and the one people only discover they need when a particular magazine defeats them, but for anyone running an unusual platform it is the difference between the loader working and not.
If you own magazines that have never loaded properly on your Vanguard, this is almost certainly the answer.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I need it?
If a particular magazine will not seat properly on the standard output tube, or the tube cannot reach its feed port, this is the fix. Everything that loads fine now does not need it.
Which magazines is it for?
Those with extended bodies or recessed, unusually placed inlets. There is no fixed list - it is about geometry rather than platform.
Can you tell me if it will work with mine?
Send us the magazine make and model and we will give you a straight answer rather than a guess.
Does it fit all the loaders?
Yes - Pro, Mk2 and MAX.
