- description
The pouch is a padded, insulated sleeve rather than a bag. The bladder drops in through the top, the hose runs out through a hook-and-loop tidy, and the whole thing sits flat against whatever it is mounted to. That padding is doing two jobs: it slows the water warming up on a summer game day, and it stops the bladder slapping about when you move.
Attachment is MOLLE straps with press studs across the back, with 2x3 PALS webbing on the rear face and a 3x2 panel on the front. The rear webbing means it will also take a pouch behind it on a two-layer setup; the front panel means the bladder pouch is not a dead square on your kit. An admin pouch, a dump bag or a radio pocket all live there quite happily.
The bladder itself has a large screw-top cap, which is the difference between a bladder you clean properly and one you stop using. There is a covered bite valve with a flow shut-off switch, a colour-matched neoprene hose cover, a drainage grommet in the base of the pouch and a carry handle.
It is a sensible way to carry water on an airsoft site where you are away from the safe zone for an hour at a time, and it works equally well clipped to a day sack for walking. Two colours here: Black and V-Cam.

Frequently asked questions
Does it come with the bladder? Yes. The 1.5-litre bladder, the hose and the neoprene hose cover are all included. The bladder lifts out for filling, cleaning and drying.
Will it fit my plate carrier? If your carrier has PALS webbing on the back, yes. The pouch mounts with standard MOLLE straps and press studs, and at 19 cm wide it sits inside the width of most carriers and day sacks.
Can I put pouches on the front of it? That is what the 3 x 2 front panel is for. It takes a single or double mag pouch, an admin pouch or a dump bag without fouling the bladder behind it.
How do I stop the water tasting of plastic? Rinse the bladder and hose with warm water before first use, then let it dry fully with the cap off. The screw-top opening is wide enough to get a hand or a brush inside, which is the main reason to choose this style over a slide-seal bladder.
Does Viper make it in other colours? Viper list the pouch in Green and Coyote as well as the Black and V-Cam shown here. Ask us if you want one of the other two and we will look at getting it in.
