Four SMG magazines, and it goes wherever you stick it. An elastic sleeve with hook and loop backing that carries four SMG magazines and fits most of them. Move it around a VX rig, a panel or a plate carrier without unthreading anything.

SMG magazines are the awkward ones. They are shorter and narrower than a rifle magazine, so they rattle around in an M4 pouch, and they are too fat for a pistol pouch. An elastic sleeve solves it by gripping whatever you put in it rather than being cut to one shape, which is why a sleeve ends up carrying more different magazines than a moulded pouch ever will.

Hook and loop backing rather than MOLLE straps is the other half of the idea. It takes five seconds to move, so you can run it high on a chest rig one week and low on a belt panel the next, and you can take it off entirely when you go back to a rifle. Nothing to re-weave.

It is part of the VX system, so it lands on a VX panel or carrier without an adaptor. It will equally stick to any loop-faced surface, which covers most modern rigs and a good many older ones.

Good to know before you buy

It needs a loop surface to stick to. A VX panel, a loop-faced chest rig or a plate carrier cummerbund all work. A bare MOLLE webbing grid with no loop fabric does not, so check what you are mounting it on — the VX panels and rigs are in our Viper Tactical section.

Elastic grips, it does not lock. Four magazines held by tension is fast and is not the same as a closed pouch. For crawling or vehicle work, put the spares in something with a lid and keep the sleeve for the first reloads.

Most SMG magazines, not all. Viper specify most, and the very fat drum or extended magazines are the ones that will not sit. Tell us what you run and we will say whether it fits.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as an SMG magazine?
MP5, MP7, Scorpion, UMP, Kriss and similar short magazines. Viper specify most SMG magazines rather than a list, so ask us if yours is unusual.

Can I put rifle magazines in it?
It is sized for SMG magazines, so a 5.56 pattern magazine is both too long and too wide to sit properly. Use a rifle pouch for those.

Will it hold them upside down?
Elastic retention holds well under running and climbing. Hanging fully inverted is asking more of it than it is designed for.

Does it come with anything to mount it?
It attaches by hook and loop directly, so there are no straps or buckles to fit. The surface it sticks to is the only requirement.

⚠ Load it before you leave the house, not at the safe zone. An elastic sleeve stretches to the magazines you put in it, and a brand new one is tight. Load it the night before so it has taken their shape by the time you need a reload.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Put the sleeve where your support hand already goes, not where there happens to be room. The whole point of hook and loop is that you can move it after the first game day, so treat the first position as a guess. More carry kit in our pouches section.
