The VMP-1 was Vorsk's first foray into gas-blowback sub-machine guns and remains the foundation of the entire VMP ecosystem. Internally it inherits the KWA MP9 / TP9 System 7 gas system, so the cycle is fast, gas-efficient, and familiar to anyone who has run an MP9 before. Externally Vorsk did their own thing: a HIPS polymer receiver with metal reinforcement at the load points, a folding skeleton stock that builds onto an M4-pattern stock tube (so the factory stock can be swapped for any GBB-spec M4 stock), and a bespoke compensator at the muzzle that doubles as the mounting interface for the Vorsk VMP "Can" suppressor.
The signature ergonomic detail is the 15-degree spring-centred tilt mechanism built into the buttstock. It lets you angle your body around a corner while keeping the gun pointed straight ahead — useful for slicing into cover without canting the hop curve off the horizontal. The hop unit itself is the original System 7 design, accessed under the bolt cover via the supplied hop tool key, and the integrated low-profile fibre sight system sits tight over the bore line for instinctive parallax shooting whether you're shouldered or hip-firing through a corridor.
The 48-round STD gas magazine seats centrally in the pistol grip for natural balance, and the platform is cross-compatible with KWA, KSC and ASG MP9 / TP9 magazines if you already run those — a genuinely useful flexibility detail. A 20-round short magazine is also available for compact carry. With its strong cycling, accurate 6.03mm tightbore, and full-auto rate of fire, the VMP-1 is well-suited to CQB primary use or as a high-firepower secondary alongside a sniper or DMR loadout.
