Six minutes of angle is a choice, not a compromise. A 2 MOA dot is the right tool when you are trying to clip the edge of something small and far away; a 6 MOA dot is the right tool when the shot is close, the target is moving and the clock matters more than the group size. It is fatter, brighter to the eye and quicker to find in the window — which is exactly the trade a CQB player wants and a marksman does not.
The housing is sealed 6061 aluminium with the emitter captured inside, and the deck height of 10.0mm puts the dot noticeably higher than a slide-hugging carry optic. That height is useful rather than accidental: it clears taller iron sights and it suits a pistol worn in a holster that sits proud of a plate carrier. Length is 1.84in and the optic weighs 1.75oz.
Motion activation handles the part everybody forgets. Lift the gun and the dot is already there; leave it in a bag for ten minutes and it shuts itself down. Vortex rate the CR2032 at 20,000 hours, and the turrets move in 1 MOA clicks with 40 MOA per rotation — a full turn is a long way, which makes zeroing from a wild starting point less of an exercise in counting.

Good to know
6 MOA or 3 MOA? Both exist in this family. Take 6 MOA if most of your shooting is inside twenty metres and you care about how fast the dot appears. Take the smaller dot if you shoot a pistol at distance or want it to double as a rifle optic.
What does DeltaPoint Pro footprint mean for me? It is a different mounting pattern from the RMR and RMSc cuts, with its own screw spacing and recoil lugs. Check which pattern your slide is machined for; adapter plates exist but they add height and another interface to come loose.
Does it need the battery removed to change it? The tray is accessible without unmounting the optic, so a cell change does not cost you your zero.
