Wolf grey is the colour that argues with nothing. It reads as grey against concrete and as a dull mid-tone against foliage, so it will sit under a Multicam carrier or a ranger green rig without drawing the eye the way a black belt does. If your kit has been assembled a piece at a time and does not match, this is the belt that will not make that worse.
Underneath the colour, the structure is what you are paying for. Two belts work together: a thinner inner belt goes through your trouser loops with loop Velcro facing outwards, and the rigid outer closes over it with hook Velcro facing in. The two grip along their entire circumference, which is why a fully loaded belt does not creep round your waist over a game day.
The Gen 2 outer is laser cut rather than sewn, so the attachment slots go straight through the laminate and there is no second layer of webbing standing proud. It carries between 18 and 24 rows depending on size, and the Cobra buckle is rated to 4000lb — far past anything a loadout asks, which is why it still releases cleanly when the belt is heavy.

Frequently asked questions
Which size do I order? Go by your measured waist, not your trouser label. A 32″ waist takes the Small, and there is 6″ of adjustment beyond nominal for winter layers.
Does grey actually hide better than black? In most British conditions, yes. Black is the one colour that occurs almost nowhere in nature, so it reads as a hard horizontal bar. Grey breaks up against far more backgrounds.
Will my existing pouches mount to it? Anything MOLLE-compatible will. Check anything that clamps directly to the belt, though — plenty of belt clips are cut for 1.75″ and will not open to 50mm.
