Wolverine Airsoft Flow Reducer Set for INFERNO XTS

Flow reducers are small aluminium inserts that sit inside the INFERNO XTS nozzle assembly and physically restrict the volume of air that passes through on each shot, thereby limiting the maximum output pressure the engine can produce.

There are two situations where you need them. The first is the QUAKE MTW Recoil Stock: the QUAKE is driven by a dedicated recoil port on the INFERNO XTS engine, and without a flow reducer in place, the combined air demand of the engine (firing) plus the QUAKE (recoil cycling) can push the system beyond safe limits. MTW builds shipping with a QUAKE recoil stock already have a green flow reducer pre-installed for this reason. If yours has been lost, replaced, or you’re adding a QUAKE to an existing XTS engine, you need this set.

The second is field FPS compliance. If your site runs stricter limits than your standard operating pressure produces, or you want a fixed pressure ceiling regardless of regulator adjustment, installing the appropriate reducer gives you a hardware-level cap that can’t drift. A 10-32 x 5/16 recoil-out plug screw (included with the engine) should be installed in the rear recoil port when the QUAKE is not fitted.

Always refer to the Wolverine INFERNO XTS Owner’s Manual for the correct reducer selection and installation procedure. The reducers in this set are sized for the XTS — not compatible with older INFERNO Gen 2 nozzles.
