The MTW-9 is the answer to a specific question: what if you want MTW quality and performance but in a compact, CQB-focused SMG format? The MTW-9 takes the Gen 3 billet receiver platform and builds it around a 9mm SMG footprint — shorter 7" Invictus MK-1 M-LOK rail, Laylax folding stock adapter (compatible with any Picatinny-mounted stock), and a lower receiver specifically designed to accept ASG EVO-format magazines.
Magazine compatibility is one of the MTW-9's most practical features. The ASG EVO 75-round mid-cap is included in the package and is one of the most reliable mid-cap magazines available for any airsoft SMG platform. The PTS EPM E9 110-round magazine is also compatible, giving you a high-capacity option. Both use empty mag detection, so the MTW-9 locks the trigger when the magazine runs dry — just like a real firearm.
The INFERNO Gen 2 engine provides the same consistent HPA performance as every other MTW — 80–140psi operating range, hybrid open/closed bolt, temperature-independent output. The Spartan FCU controls fire modes: semi, programmable burst, and full-auto. The 7.4V mini LiPo battery lives in the folding stock housing.

MTW-Spec compatibility: The MTW-9 uses the same MTW-Spec upper receiver architecture as all other MTW variants — INFERNO XTS upgrade, BLINC Bluetooth, and other MTW-Spec electronics are compatible. The lower receiver is 9mm-format and uses MTW-9-specific magazines.
