The MTW Billet upper receiver is CNC machined from solid aluminium billet — the same process used on the standard Billet Series rifles, which produces a stronger part than cast aluminium because it’s cut from a single uninterrupted block. The Billet receiver features Wolverine’s “Intrinsic Alignment” design, where the upper is machined to precise tolerances that hold the HPA engine with no room for movement or misalignment. This is one of the core reasons MTW accuracy is as consistent as it is — the engine, hop-up, and barrel are held in perfect alignment by the receiver itself, not by shimming or adjustment.

This kit includes the upper receiver body and the Gen 3 M4 feed tube (MTW-M-327). The feed tube is the component that routes BBs from the magazine into the hop-up chamber — three generations exist, and this is the current standard. Gen 3 feed tubes are compatible with most aftermarket barrels and hop-ups including the Maxx M4W chamber. Gen 1 feed tubes (pre-October 2021 Billet Series) are not compatible with these aftermarket upgrade barrels.
