🔧 Recommended first upgrade for any new MTW build. 20 minutes to fit, £37.95, and it fundamentally changes how your rifle handles. The FRAC moves the HPA airline connection from the bottom of the grip to the rear sling plate, routed cleanly through the buffer tube.

On a standard MTW setup, the HPA airline connects at the bottom of the pistol grip and hangs down to your tank pouch or remote line. It’s functional, but it puts hardware right where your firing hand is, and the line can snag on kit, interfere with a natural grip, or pull when you move quickly. The FRAC (Fixed Rear Airline Connector) solves all of this cleanly.

It replaces the buffer tube and sling plate assembly with a unit that routes the airline through the buffer tube and exits at the rear of the lower receiver. The airline connection is now at the stock end of the rifle — out of the way of your hands entirely, and naturally routed back towards a harness-mounted tank. Connecting and disconnecting the airline is a one-handed, button-press QD operation rather than threading anything. The included 3.5” filtered airline has a built-in filter that prevents dust and debris entering your engine from the airline — a detail that matters during sustained field use in muddy UK conditions.

Installation follows standard MTW disassembly — loosen the castle nut with an armorer’s wrench, unscrew the buffer tube, fit the FRAC orientation ring against the castle nut, install the FRAC body with the button facing left, reinstall the buffer tube (do not thread past the front edge of the buffer tube extension or the upper won’t seat), tighten the castle nut, and swap the airline. About 20 minutes for a first install, faster once you’ve done it once.

🔧 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: If you’re running an MTW-308 or Gen-12 Shotgun, note those platforms use blue Loctite on the buffer tube threads from the factory — you’ll need a little extra force on the first removal. Don’t panic, it’s intentional. You’ll also need longer airlines for those variants — call us on 01494 911990 and we’ll confirm the correct lengths for your specific platform before you order.
