⚠ Gen 1 feed tube note. These replacement barrels are not compatible with Gen 1 MTW feed tubes. Gen 1 feed tubes were fitted to early Billet Series MTWs before October 2021 (identifiable by the green trigger board). If your MTW was built before October 2021, check your feed tube generation before ordering any aftermarket outer barrel.

One of the practical advantages of the MTW platform that often gets overlooked: swapping the outer barrel is genuinely tool-less and takes about five minutes. The MTW’s true tool-less disassembly means you can pull the upper, swap the barrel, and be shooting a completely different length profile in the time it takes most players to clean their AEG. Four lengths cover every game format — CQB, SBR, carbine, and DMR — and the 14mm CCW muzzle thread is universal for suppressors, tracer units, and flash hiders.

This opens up a genuinely practical option that most players with a standard AEG can’t access: a single MTW platform that plays CQB on Sunday with a 7” barrel and outdoor milsim the following weekend with a 14”. Buy the rifle once, buy the barrel that changes the format.

For a premium lightweight alternative in the same lengths, the Heretic Labs carbon fibre barrels and OG Carbon forged carbon barrels are both MTW-compatible and save meaningful weight over the steel versions.
