Wolverine Airsoft STORM Category 5 HPA Regulator — On-Tank | 60–180psi

If you’re running a Wolverine engine, this is the regulator Wolverine themselves recommend. The STORM Category 5 is the latest evolution of the STORM regulator — the original dedicated airsoft regulator — and it brings meaningful engineering improvements over its predecessor without complicating the setup.

The Category 5 features a 36% larger piston area than the classic STORM, which directly translates to a faster refresh rate — critical for high rates of fire where slower regulators show pressure drop between shots. With 2 fewer sealing surfaces than the classic STORM, there are fewer potential failure points. At 59.3mm tall it’s 12% shorter than the original, and the simplified zip-tie tournament lock makes field compliance straightforward.

Output pressure adjusts from 60 to 180psi via hex key at approximately 30psi per turn, covering the full operating range of every Wolverine engine on the market. Input pressure range is 300–1000psi, compatible with all standard HPA tanks. Note: the pressure gauge is accurate at rest but will read low under rapid fire due to the regulator’s refresh rate exceeding the gauge response — this is normal behaviour.
