BLINC draws more from its supply than the older boards do — it is running a radio as well as the firing electronics — and its yoke is built for that rather than being the same part with a different label. Fitting the standard MTW yoke in its place is the sort of thing that appears to work on the bench and then misbehaves at 25 rounds per second.
Because BLINC is app-controlled, its failures look different too. A dying yoke tends to show up as the rifle dropping its Bluetooth connection under fire rather than as a dead trigger, which sends people chasing a phone problem that is really a contact problem.
Keep the two yokes separate in your spares box. They are similar enough to mix up and different enough to matter.
