Unlike the engine itself, the airline on a BOLT M build is rifle-specific, because the distance from the port to wherever the line exits the stock changes with the platform. A line that is right for a VSR is short on a Striker and will pull on the fitting every time the bolt is worked.
That pull is what kills lines. Not abrasion, not pressure — the slow repeated tug at the fitting as the action cycles. Running the correct length removes it entirely, which is the whole reason Wolverine sell this as two parts rather than one.
Both variants arrive assembled with the right fittings, so this is a five-minute swap rather than a bench job.
