Wolverine BOLT and REAPER Solenoid — the valve that does the actual work. Genuine OEM part covering both engine families, for rebuilds and hard-use replacements.

The solenoid is the single most-cycled component in an HPA engine. Every shot it opens, meters a measured volume of air and shuts again, and it does that at full working pressure. Over a few seasons the internal seals tire, the response slows, and shot-to-shot consistency drifts before it ever fails outright.

Inconsistent velocity on a sniper build is worse than a dead engine, because you keep playing without realising anything is wrong. If your chrono spread has widened and the hop and barrel are clean, the solenoid is the next place to look.

This is a different valve from the one used in the INFERNO, HYDRA, SMP and HAVOC engines — those share their own part. This one covers BOLT and REAPER, which is a useful overlap if you run both.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same solenoid as the INFERNO uses? No. INFERNO, HYDRA, SMP and HAVOC share a different valve, listed separately.

How do I know mine has gone? Widening chrono spread with a clean hop and barrel, a sluggish or changed firing note, or air passing when the engine is at rest.

Can it be serviced instead of replaced? The o-ring kit for MAC solenoid valves covers the serviceable seals. Try that first if the valve still switches cleanly.
