- description
Embroidered patches fade, fray at the border and turn into a fuzzy approximation of whatever they started as. Moulded rubber does none of that. The relief holds its shape, the colours are through the material rather than sitting on top of it, and it wipes clean after a muddy weekend instead of holding the mud.
At roughly five inches by three this is a full-size panel patch rather than a small unit tab, so it wants a decent stretch of loop — the back of a plate carrier, a helmet panel or a gear bag rather than a sleeve.
The artwork is by HiWez Illustrations, drawn as Wolverine's own mascot carrying the Modular Training Weapon. If you run an MTW it is a fairly pointed thing to have on your kit.

Frequently asked questions
Is the backing hook or loop? Wolverine describe it as a patch without specifying the backing type, so we are not going to state it. If it matters for your setup, ask us and we will confirm against stock before it ships.
Will it survive being washed? Rubber patches generally do far better than embroidered ones. Take it off the garment first and let it air dry rather than putting it through heat.
Is this the same artwork as the tech mat? Same mascot, different product. The tech mat is a bench surface; this is a wearable patch.
