Wolverine FRAC Replacement Airline — get the length right or the FRAC will not close. Four factory lengths covering M4, QUAKE-equipped, MTW-308 and Gen-12 shotgun builds.

The FRAC hides the airline inside the buffer tube, which is what makes a rear-line MTW look clean. The cost of that tidiness is that the line has to be exactly the right length: too long and it kinks against the end cap, too short and it strains the fitting every time the stock moves.

Wolverine cut four lengths because four different receivers put the port in four different places. A QUAKE recoil stock shortens the run by a fraction of an inch, which sounds trivial until you try to fit a standard line behind one.

This is a wear item on any rifle that gets stripped often. If yours has gone hard, discoloured at the ends or taken a nick from the buffer tube lip, change it rather than nurse it.

Frequently asked questions

Which length do I need? Match it to the rifle: 3.5 inch for a standard MTW M4 or MTW-9, 3.325 inch if a QUAKE stock is fitted, 4.5 inch for the MTW-308, 6 inch for the Gen-12 shotgun.

Is this the whole FRAC kit? No. This is the replacement line on its own. The complete FRAC kit is a separate listing and includes the connector body.

Can I trim a longer one down? Not sensibly. The fittings are attached at the factory and cutting one off leaves you with a line you cannot terminate.

⚠ The QUAKE length is direct-order. The 3.325 inch line for QUAKE-equipped rifles is not carried by our UK trade suppliers and will read zero until we bring one in. Tell us if you need it and it goes on the next order.
