On a lineless build the air has to cross from the stock into the receiver at a single fixed joint, and this is that joint. It takes full regulated pressure, it gets disturbed every time the stock comes off, and it is sealed by o-rings that are smaller than most people expect.
When a WRAITH build develops a slow leak that nobody can find, this is very often where it is. Air escaping at the hard point vents into the buffer tube rather than out into the open, so there is no hiss to follow and no obvious wet spot — the tank simply empties overnight.
It arrives with the seals already fitted, which matters: seating those o-rings correctly by hand is fiddly, and a pinched one causes exactly the fault you were trying to fix.

Is there a version for the MTW-308 or the shotgun? Yes, and it is a separate listing — those receivers take a different adapter.
Does the MTW AK use this one? No. The AK platform has its own hardpoint airline assembly.
Can I just replace the o-rings? You can, but the adapter is cheap and comes sealed. If the body itself has been marked, new o-rings will not save it.
