Wolverine HYDRA Gen 2 Air Nozzle — for the awkward gearboxes. The HYDRA exists because some platforms cannot take a straight nozzle, and this is the part that makes each one work.

HYDRA is the engine for rifles whose nozzle does not sit on the gearbox centreline — bullpups, the P90, the M14 family, the Type 97. Each of those routes air at a different offset, and the nozzle is what translates the engine's output into that specific geometry.

That makes the nozzle far more than a wear part on a HYDRA build. It is the component that defines which rifle the engine is for, and swapping it is how an owner moves a HYDRA from one platform to another without buying a second engine.

As with any nozzle it does wear. If a previously reliable HYDRA has started feeding inconsistently and the hop unit is sound, this is the part to change before anything more expensive.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move my HYDRA to another rifle? Often yes — the nozzle is usually what changes. Check the cylinder and mounting for your target platform before committing.

Is this the same as the INFERNO nozzle? No. INFERNO and HYDRA are different engines with different nozzles, and neither will work in the other.

Which ones are hard to get? G&G F2000, G&G M14 and RS SVD have no UK trade route at present and are direct-order. The other five come through normal supply.

Three fitments are direct-order only. G&G F2000, G&G M14 and RS SVD are not carried by our UK trade suppliers, so they sit at zero stock until we source them from Wolverine directly. Get in touch if you need one.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: If you are buying a HYDRA for a bullpup, buy the spare nozzle at the same time — they are not a stock item everywhere. See HPA Engines.
