The one Invictus rail that is not an MTW rifle part. Invictus Manufacturing's ten inch M-LOK handguard, cut specifically for the Gen-12 MTW shotgun.

The Gen-12 leaves the factory wearing the stock Genesis Arms handguard. It works, but it gives you almost nowhere to put a light, and a shotgun used indoors is exactly the gun that wants one. This is Invictus Manufacturing's replica of that original rail with licensed M-LOK cut into three faces of it.

Slots run down the left, the right and the underside; the top face stays picatinny, so a red dot or a magnifier goes straight on without an adapter. That layout is deliberate — optics go up top where you already expect them, and everything heavier hangs off the sides where M-LOK carries the load better than a ladder rail does.

It is machined from 6105 T5 aluminium and finished in Milspec Black Type III hardcoat anodising, the same treatment as the rest of the Invictus line. Fitting hardware is in the box: the barrel bushing, eight retention screws, and the detent and spring.

Read the compatibility row before ordering. Wolverine build this for the shotgun receiver and nothing else — it will not go on an MTW M4, an MTW-9, an MTW-308 or an MTW AK, all of which are served by the MK1, MK2 and Advanced rails instead.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my MTW M4? No. Wolverine publish a compatibility table for this rail and the shotgun is the only receiver marked as a fit. The M4, the MTW-9, the MTW-308 and the AK all take a different handguard.

Is it the same rail the gun comes with? It is a replica of the stock Genesis Arms rail, remade in house by Invictus with M-LOK cut into three sides. The profile is the original; the mounting is not.

Do I need to buy the fitting parts separately? No. The barrel bushing, the eight retention screws, the detent and the spring all come with it. M-LOK bolts and T-nuts for your accessories are the only separate items.

Can I mount an optic on it? Yes, on the top picatinny section. The three M-LOK faces are for lights, grips, sling mounts and anything else with an M-LOK foot.

Is there a thirteen inch version? Not for the shotgun. Wolverine list this rail in ten inch only.
