The MK2 is what Wolverine fit to the Forged Tactical rifles, and the difference you notice first is circumference. It is a narrower tube than the MK1, which suits a thumb-over grip and anyone with smaller hands, and it makes a 13 inch rail feel considerably less like holding a drainpipe.
That slimmer profile is also why it is the popular retrofit. Plenty of people buy an MTW on a MK1 rail, shoot it for a season, and swap to the MK2 purely for how it handles rather than for any functional gain.
Everything else carries over: free-float mounting off the receiver, M-LOK along the length, and the same barrel-nut interface as the rest of the Invictus family.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit a Billet Series MTW? Yes. The Invictus family shares a common interface across the Billet and Forged receivers.
Is the MK2 lighter than the MK1? Slimmer rather than dramatically lighter. The change people report is in how it fills the hand, not in what the scales say.
Does it come with a barrel nut? Check what your rifle already has before ordering. Most MTW builds retain the existing nut when changing rail.
