AEG buffer tubes and HPA stock fitments were not designed with each other in mind. An AEG tube is sized around a battery and a stock catch; a Wolverine air stock expects the thread and shoulder its own receivers provide. This adapter is the piece that makes the two agree.
It matters most on conversions that started life as a normal AEG. You have the rifle, you have the engine, and the only thing standing between you and a lineless build is a mounting mismatch at the back of the receiver.
It is also the part that lets you keep an existing stock rather than replacing the whole rear of the gun.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need this for an MTW? No. MTW receivers already take the Wolverine fitment directly.
Will it fit any AEG tube? It is made for standard M4 tubes. Non-standard or proprietary tubes need checking first.
Is the Kross adapter the same thing? We stock a Kross MTW AEG buffer adapter as well. They solve related problems — ask if you are unsure which you need.
