The Tactical XR is the one you feel. It fits Wolverine's new QUAKE MTW recoil stock: a patent-pending, purely HPA-driven system that taps the INFERNO XTS engine's recoil port to drive the full weapon mass back into your shoulder on every shot, with no added weights and no battery for the kick. It is the closest an MTW gets to a real firearm.
That recoil shares the engine's air through a fixed rear airline connector, which is why the XR routes its air in at the back of the stock. It runs at a higher input pressure and uses more air than a standard MTW, and the recoil can be switched off entirely — disconnect the mini-airline and plug the port — whenever you would rather run light and efficient.
Everything else is core INFERNO XTS: the latest hybrid open/closed-bolt engine, fully adjustable output at 80 to 140 PSI, and a recommended 5 to 15 RPS with the QUAKE fitted for the best recoil feel. It is a machined billet receiver in Tactical trim — steel flash hider, DLG real-steel grip — in a 10-inch SBR with a 10.3-inch barrel, a 10-inch M-LOK rail and a 6.03mm tightbore.
It keeps the MTW's modularity and real-steel compatibility, and each rifle is put together to Wolverine's MTW-Spec standard. Note that the QUAKE stock replaces the buffer tube, so it is not run alongside a WRAITH stock, and it is not compatible with the Gen-12 shotgun. A Wolverine magazine featuring empty-mag detection comes in the box.
What's on the outside
The headline feature sits out back: the QUAKE recoil stock with its fixed rear airline connector. Up front are a steel flash hider, a 10-inch Invictus MK1 rail and a DLG grip on the billet receiver. One Wolverine magazine with bolt catch and empty-mag detection is included.

Good to know before you buy
The recoil uses more air at a higher input pressure, so plan your tank accordingly — it can be disabled when you want efficiency. An HPA tank, regulator and line are needed to run it (see below). It ships in the 10-inch SBR configuration.
