The bolt catch on an MTW is there for the feel of the thing rather than the function — there is no bolt to lock back. On a milsim rifle that is not a trivial reason: the drills only stay automatic if the controls are all where the hand expects them.
It gets broken the same way the trigger guard does, and it gets lost the same way the dust cover does, because the pin that retains it is a roll pin driven into a blind hole on the side of the lower.
Buying catch and pin together saves the usual sequence of fitting the catch, realising the old pin is bent, and stopping.

Frequently asked questions
Does it lock anything back? No. There is no reciprocating bolt on an HPA rifle — this is a handling and appearance part.
Is the spring and detent included? The pin is included. Check your lower for the spring and plunger before fitting.
Are there aftermarket alternatives? There are, but fitment varies by lower. This is the genuine Wolverine part.
