The feed tube guides BBs from the magazine into the hop unit. It is unglamorous and almost never thought about until it cracks, at which point the rifle double-feeds, misfeeds or stops feeding altogether. On a platform as old as the MTW there are now several generations in circulation, and a rifle needs the tube that matches it.
Wolverine publish six versions of this part — Version 1, Version 2 for M4 and for MTW-9, and Version 3 for M4 / MTW Shotgun, for MTW-9 and for MTW-308. The giveaway is the upper receiver rather than anything visible on the tube itself, which is why they publish an identification image of the different uppers.
The Version 3 CNC options are the machined aluminium tubes rather than the moulded ones. If you have cracked a polymer tube once you will understand the appeal; if you never have, the standard part is doing its job.
One thing worth knowing before you order: depending on which version your rifle is, an engine retention clip may also be required. It is not included here, and fitting a tube without the clip your receiver expects will not hold the engine correctly.

Frequently asked questions
How do I tell which version my MTW is? By the upper receiver. Wolverine publish a comparison image for exactly this purpose, and we are happy to check a photo against it for you.
Is the CNC version worth the difference? If you have broken a tube before, or the gun sees hard use, yes. Otherwise the standard part is what the rifle was designed around and it works.
Why are Version 2 and the Version 3 Shotgun option not listed? Because our supplier does not currently carry them. Ask and we will look at sourcing one.
Will a cracked tube damage anything else? Not usually, but it will jam and it can shave BBs, so it is worth dealing with promptly rather than playing through it.
