Inner barrel length on an MTW is not a tuning choice so much as a consequence. Each length is cut to finish where its outer barrel finishes, and running one that is too short leaves an unsupported gap at the muzzle while one that is too long protrudes.
Changing outer barrel length therefore means changing the inner too, which is the single most commonly missed step when someone shortens an MTW for CQB and then wonders why it groups worse than it did.
As a wear part they last a long time, but they do get scored by a BB fragment or bent by a cleaning rod used with more enthusiasm than care.

Frequently asked questions
Which length matches my rifle? 150mm suits a 5.5 inch outer, 208mm a 7 inch, 285mm a 10.3 inch and 380mm a 14.5 inch.
Is the 500mm length available? Wolverine make one but we have no UK trade route for it at present. Ask and we will chase it.
Can I fit an aftermarket tightbore instead? You can, provided the length and the hop fitment match. The genuine barrels are the exact-fit option.
