The genuine factory tube, in true mil-spec diameter. This is the part your MTW left the factory wearing, and the reason its stock does not rattle.

Buffer tube diameter is one of those dimensions where a fraction of a millimetre decides whether a rifle feels solid or cheap. Airsoft-spec tubes are frequently undersized, and a stock that has to clamp down on an undersized tube develops play the moment the plastic relaxes. On a rifle that costs what an MTW costs, that is a jarring thing to feel every time you shoulder it.

Wolverine machine this one to genuine mil-spec dimension, so any stock designed for a real-steel pattern tube seats without wobble. Most people buy it for one of three reasons: they are building an MTW from parts, they have worn a tube out, or they are coming back from a WRAITH stock and want the rifle back in its standard configuration.

The anodised matte black finish matches the rest of the MTW hardware rather than sitting a shade off, which matters more than it should on a rifle where every other component is colour-matched.

Frequently asked questions

Does a castle nut come with it? No — the tube is supplied on its own. If you are building from scratch you will want a castle nut and an end plate as well.

Will a real-steel stock fit? That is the point of a true mil-spec diameter, so in most cases yes. Real-steel stocks vary in their internal clearances, though, so if you have something unusual in mind it is worth asking first.

Is this the same tube as the one in the CO2 upgrade kit? Both are mil-spec, but they are sold as separate items for different purposes. This one is the standard factory replacement.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: If your stock has developed play, check the tube before you replace the stock — nine times out of ten the tube is the worn part. More at MTW-spec parts and upgrades.
