A 1913 rail on the back of the receiver, plus a QD point where you actually want one. Opens the MTW up to folding, side-folding and PDW stocks.

The standard buffer tube commits you to AR-pattern stocks. That is fine until you want something the AR pattern cannot give you — a genuinely short PDW brace, a side-folder for vehicle work, or one of the picatinny-mount stocks that have become the default on compact builds. This adapter replaces the tube interface with three slots of 1913 rail and lets you mount whatever you like.

It also solves a smaller irritation. Rear QD points on airsoft rifles are often an afterthought bolted somewhere inconvenient; here the socket is machined into the adapter itself, so a single-point sling attaches close to the receiver where it belongs rather than hanging off an add-on plate.

Because it fits both the MTW and the Article Series, it is worth knowing that Wolverine list the components separately: the adapter is MTW-M-613, the buffer tube plug is MTW-M-615 and the retention screw is MTW-H-612.

Battery routing changes. If your build houses its LiPo inside the buffer tube, removing the tube leaves it nowhere to live. Plan on a grip-mounted battery or a stock with its own compartment before fitting.

Frequently asked questions

Which stocks will fit? Anything that mounts to a 1913 rail. That covers most folding and PDW-style stocks, but check the slot count your stock needs before ordering.

Do I lose the buffer tube entirely? Yes — that is what the plug is for. The adapter takes the tube's place at the rear of the receiver.

Is the QD point steel? Wolverine do not publish a material for the socket, and we would rather say so than guess. The assembly as a whole is machined hardware in keeping with the rest of the MTW range.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Sort your battery plan before the tube comes off — it is the one thing that catches people out on this conversion. Talk it through with our HPA tech service.
