Wolverine sell ready-made looms for the platforms that sell in volume: V2, V3, M249, MTW. Everything else — an unusual bullpup, a support weapon nobody converts, a custom chassis someone built in a shed — needs wiring by hand, and this kit is what that is done with.
It is aimed squarely at the person doing the build rather than the person buying a finished rifle. If you already know your gearbox does not have a listed harness, this is the answer to the question you were about to ask.
It is also worth having in a workshop. A tech who converts the occasional oddity will get through these steadily, and buying one when you need it usually means the rifle waits a week.
