A WRAITH stock puts the regulator and the air source inside the buffer tube, so the only line on the whole rifle is this short internal one between the stock and the engine. There is nothing else to blame when it fails, and nothing to improvise with in a car park at lunchtime.
Because it lives inside the tube it does not get abraded or snagged — it fails from age and from being pulled at each time the stock is separated for a fill or a service. That makes it a slow, predictable wear item rather than a sudden one.
Usefully, Wolverine kept one part number across the WRAITH generations, so a single spare covers a WRAITH X, an Aero and an older CO2 stock alike.
