The hard part of a HYP-AR build is not the receiver, it is the trigger group. You have to get a box out of a donor MWS without wrecking it, shim it to the right sear height, then drive the pin through without marking the receiver. This version skips all of that: the box, the fire selector and the bolt stop are in, pinned and ready.
Underneath it is the same part as the bare lower — 7075 billet, Cerakoted, cut in Northern Ireland, air unit machined inside the receiver, feeding PTS EPM M4 magazines with the gun’s own magazine release, bolt catch and selector all still doing their jobs.
Your donor gun also stays whole. If you were planning to rob its trigger box you would be left with an upper and a shell; this way you keep a complete gun and gain a second lower you can move the upper between.
This is the earlier of the two MWS cuts, listed under our supplier’s own Batch 2 label. The later cut is the Style 2 receiver.

Good to know before you buy
The trigger group is in, so on the mechanical side there is nothing else to source. You still bring your own upper, bolt, barrel and stock, and you still need a line, a regulator and a tank to feed it.
Double Eagle lowers sit with a visible step where the turret meets the upper half. That is designed in, to swallow the variation between their generations, and there is nothing about it to correct.
Set pressure for reliable bolt return first and bring muzzle energy down with an NPAS afterwards. The 556 receiver has a small internal volume and wants more pressure than a typical AEG engine.
Our supplier labels this cut Batch 2 while the manufacturer has moved to Style 1 and Style 2 naming. We have not been able to confirm in writing that the two labels describe the same cut, so ask us before ordering if you are matching an existing build.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the bare receiver?
Only in what is fitted. The receiver on its own arrives without a trigger group; this one has the box, fire selector and bolt stop installed.
Do I still need a donor gun?
For the upper, bolt, barrel and stock, yes. You no longer need to take its trigger box apart, which is the step most builds get stuck on.
Which platform should I order?
Match your gun — Tokyo Marui MWS or Double Eagle MWS. The two lowers are machined differently and are not interchangeable.
Can I buy the trigger box on its own instead?
Yes — the kit is listed separately if you would rather fit it yourself or already have a bare receiver.
