The 6-inch FAT-CAN is the full-length version of Strike Carbon's wider-bore suppressor family. Where the 4-inch trades dampening volume for compactness, the 6-inch uses every available millimetre of internal length for expansion volume. With the matching 48mm felt baffle stack installed at full length, this is the configuration that delivers the deepest, most thoroughly dampened report in the line.
The 50mm external diameter gives 48mm of internal bore — substantially wider than the typical 38mm airsoft suppressor. That extra cross-section is what produces the FAT-CAN's characteristic deeper sound: more air can expand sideways before reaching each baffle, so the pulse loses energy through expansion as well as through baffle contact.
What makes this one different is the finish. 3K carbon is woven fabric rather than moulded — the “3K” refers to 3,000 carbon filaments per tow, and the twill weave produces the regular checkerboard pattern that has defined premium carbon parts for decades. Tinted green, it is a genuinely distinctive piece: the ordered weave reads as deliberate and engineered rather than decorative.
The woven structure has a technical upside too. Because the fibres run in defined directions through the warp and weft, 3K twill gives consistent, predictable strength along both fibre axes — and unlike a moulded finish, the pattern is uniform from one piece to the next, so a build using several 3K parts looks coherent.
Construction otherwise matches the rest of the FAT-CAN family: carbon body bonded to CNC-machined 7075 aerospace aluminium end caps. The 7075 grade matters most on the muzzle end cap, which takes thread load every time the suppressor goes on or comes off — softer alloys pick up damage after enough cycles.
Thread is 14mm CCW, the airsoft standard, and there is room inside for a tracer unit at the muzzle end alongside a baffle stack.

Good to know before you buy
The suppressor is supplied as an empty tube — the 48mm felt baffle system is sold separately and is what actually does the dampening. Without baffles a carbon tube can ring rather than quieten.
Check your muzzle threads 14mm CCW before ordering, which covers most airsoft rifles.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same suppressor as the standard FAT-CAN 6"?
Same dimensions, same thread, same 7075 end caps and the same 48mm bore. The difference is the body finish — green 3K woven carbon rather than the standard carbon.
What does 3K mean?
Three thousand carbon filaments per tow in the woven fabric. The twill weave gives the regular checkerboard pattern people recognise as premium carbon, and it is consistent from piece to piece.
How is it different from forged carbon?
3K is woven fabric with a regular, repeating pattern. Forged carbon is compression-moulded from chopped strands and comes out marbled and random. Both are strong; the choice is about which look suits your build.
Does it come with baffles?
No. The Strike Carbon 48mm felt baffle system is sold separately and is what produces the dampening.
Why is a wider suppressor quieter?
More internal volume means the air can expand sideways before it reaches each baffle, so the pulse loses energy through expansion as well as through contact. That is what gives the FAT-CAN its deeper sound.
Can I fit a tracer inside it?
Yes. There is room for a tracer unit at the muzzle end, though check your tracer's length against the space left once baffles are installed.
Will it fit my rifle?
If the muzzle is 14mm CCW, which is the airsoft standard. Ask us if yours is unusual.
