KWA ATP-GT GBB Training Pistol —  the latest evolution of KWA's training-pistol line, built around the new NS3 gas system for a markedly harder recoil impulse. Optic-ready slide, toolless hop-up, drop-in trigger, threaded barrel and ambidextrous controls. A serious GBB sidearm with a training pedigree.

KWA has built its reputation on gas systems rather than external cosmetics, and the ATP-GT is the clearest example yet. Its New System 3 (NS3) gas engine is engineered for a stronger, crisper recoil impulse than the NS2 system it replaces, delivering a kick that genuinely communicates each shot to the shooter. For force-on-force training and for players who value blowback feel, this is the headline feature — and KWA pairs it with high gas efficiency, so you get well over a magazine's worth of consistent shots before any noticeable cooldown.

The slide is optic-ready, cut to accept a common micro red dot footprint without a separate mounting plate for most popular sights. Forward and rear cocking serrations make slide manipulation positive even with gloves, and the understated KWA trademarks keep the aesthetic clean. A drop-in trigger group gives a smoother, more consistent pull than the outgoing design.

Two features carried over and improved from the ATP-LE model make a real day-to-day difference: a toolless hop-up adjustment, so you can fine-tune your range on the firing line without digging out an Allen key, and an ambidextrous magazine release that suits left- and right-handed shooters equally. The lower frame carries a Picatinny rail for a light or laser, and the barrel is threaded (M11+) for tracer units and mock suppressors.

The pistol ships with one 22-round green gas magazine featuring KWA's patented locking follower for dry-fire training. Spare magazines and a dedicated ATP-GT carbine conversion kit are available separately. The ATP-GT is compatible with holsters cut for the ATP / LE / SE family, so existing kit carries over.

Frequently asked questions

How hard does it kick? The NS3 gas system gives one of the stronger recoil impulses in its class, at roughly 335–340 FPS.

Is the slide optic-ready? Yes — it is cut for a common micro red-dot footprint, so most popular sights fit without a separate plate.

Do I need a licence? Yes — this pistol is a RIF, so UKARA or an alternative valid defence is required before we can ship it.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: The NS3 recoil is the reason to choose the ATP-GT over a softer-shooting GBB — it's one of the harder-kicking green gas pistols in its class. Grab spare ATP-GT magazines for game day, and browse our GBB pistol range for holsters and accessories.
