A gas pistol is only as useful on game day as the number of magazines you carry for it — GBB sidearms cycle through a magazine quickly under pressure, and reloading from green gas mid-skirmish is slow. Carrying two or three spare magazines turns the ATP-GT from a backup you ration into a sidearm you can actually fight with. This is the official KWA spare, built to the same standard as the magazine supplied with the pistol.
The front-loading BB design lets you top up rounds quickly without a speed-loader fighting the follower spring, and the magazine holds 22 rounds — a realistic capacity that suits training scenarios where round count matters. The gas reservoir is sized to comfortably empty the full BB load on a single fill in typical conditions.
The standout feature is KWA's patented locking magazine follower, which allows dry-fire training: with the follower locked down, the pistol will cycle on an empty magazine without the slide locking back, so you can practise trigger control and malfunction drills without burning BBs. Released, the follower behaves normally and locks the slide on the last round.
Compatible across the ATP-GT, ATP-LE and ATP-SE pistols, so if you run more than one pistol in that family the magazines are interchangeable. KWA also supplies the full range of wear-and-tear replacement parts for these magazines, so a worn seal or follower is a cheap fix rather than a new-magazine purchase.
