Maxx MGW — a numbered micro-dial in place of a chamber you have to guess at. Machined for the MTW M4, tracer-ready, with both hop arm types in the box.

Repeatability is what separates a good hop-up from a merely adequate one. A chamber that adjusts by feel gives you a setting you cannot write down, which means every strip-down starts the tuning process again from nothing. The MGW uses a numbered rotary micro-dial, so a working setting becomes a number you can note and return to.

It is also machined specifically for the MTW M4 rather than adapted from an AEG part, which matters on a platform where the engine and chamber have to align precisely for the nozzle to seal. Loose tolerances in a chamber undo the consistency an HPA engine is supposed to deliver.

Two details make it worth the money over a plain replacement. The body carries tracer-ready ports for Maxx LED boards, so a tracer unit goes inside the handguard rather than hanging off the muzzle. And a BB retention latch stops rounds rolling forward out of the chamber when the rifle is muzzle-down, which is the usual cause of a mystery first-shot flyer.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the MXW chamber? They are separate Maxx chambers for the platform. The MGW is the one specified here, with the micro-dial and tracer porting described above.

Do I need an R-Hop to use it? No. Both arm types are supplied, so you can run a conventional bucking and nub and switch later if you want to.

Will my existing bucking fit? Standard buckings work with the standard arm. If you are moving to R-Hop, that is a patch job rather than a drop-in change.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Write your dial number on the inside of your gun case. It turns a rebuild from an afternoon of chrono work into a two-minute job. See MTW-spec parts and upgrades.
