Maxx CNC Aluminium Hop-Up Chamber M4W — For Wolverine MTW M4

The stock MTW rotary hop unit is a solid, functional component. The Maxx M4W is a different class of precision entirely. Where the stock unit is polymer and designed to be adequate at scale, the M4W is CNC machined from aluminium 6061 to the tight tolerances that are only possible through that manufacturing process. The result is a hop-up that holds its adjustment position more consistently, seals to the nozzle and barrel more accurately, and doesn’t flex under the pressure of repeated cycling the way polymer eventually does.

The improvement in BB alignment is the core functional advantage. Three separate anti-wobble systems work together in the M4W: an interchangeable inlet adaptor (OD 11mm) that centres the chamber precisely on the 11mm inner bore of the HPA engine nozzle outlet, eliminating lateral play between the nozzle and hop; CNC brass side wings that slide into the outer barrel slots for positive barrel alignment; and a CNC Delrin locking C-clip that holds the inner barrel tight without movement. Additionally, three compression springs (at the top, bottom, and centre of the housing) ensure the complete unit is exactly centred, straight, and airtight in the receiver.

For hop rubber compatibility, the M4W has been specifically designed with a re-engineered hop lever and 4mm bucking nubs that work correctly with R-Hop, Flat-Hop, and Standard-Hop rubbers — without FPS loss or the BB dropping before the nozzle seals (a common issue with stock hop units when using aftermarket buckings). Optional 6mm nubs are available separately for players who prefer them.

The dual UV LED tracer module is built directly into the chamber body. Glow BBs illuminate as they pass through, working with your external tracer suppressor to eliminate the need for a hop chamber replacement when you switch between normal and tracer use.
