Black is the top of Nuprol's pressure ladder, somewhere near 200psi at room temperature. It exists for freezing mornings, when everything lighter leaves a gas gun short-stroking and miserable. In the right platform on the right day it is the difference between playing and packing up.
The ZERO blend removes the silicone from that equation. You still get the pressure; what you no longer get is oil arriving with every fill. Whether that matters to you depends on whether you would rather manage lubrication deliberately.
Treat the pressure with respect. This can is not a general-purpose choice, and it is not a way to squeeze more out of a gun that was never built for it.

Frequently asked questions
What separates this from the 4.0? Nothing in the pressure. The silicone has been left out, so seal lubrication is a job you now own.
Is my gun rated for it? If you are not certain, ask before you buy. Putting this through a platform that cannot take it is an expensive way to find out, and it is not a warranty claim.
Should I run it all year? There is little reason to. It was designed for cold, and a lower grade will be kinder to the gun the rest of the time.
How do I keep the seals healthy? Apply silicone grease yourself, and do it as a habit rather than a rescue job once something starts leaking.
