A speed loader holding sixteen hundred BBs is a maraca unless something inside stops them moving. That is the job these inserts do, and it is the reason an M12 on a chest rig does not rattle with every step while a cheaper loader does.
They are silicone, which means they are a wear item rather than a structural part. Years of being compressed, filled, emptied and left in a hot car bag will eventually take the spring out of them, and a loader that has started to sound louder than you remember is usually telling you exactly that.
Replacing them is the cheapest service a loader ever needs. Nothing about how it feeds changes; what you get back is the quiet, which on a woodland game is worth more than it sounds.

Good to know before you buy
Your loader already has these fitted from new, so this is a replacement rather than an addition. Buy it when the rattle comes back, not with the loader.
It changes the noise and nothing else. Feed rate, capacity and the clutch are all untouched by it.
If the loader is jamming or slipping rather than rattling, the fault is in the internals and the rebuild kit is the part you want instead.
Frequently asked questions
Does my loader come with these already?
Yes. Odin fit them from the factory across the range, so a new M12 needs nothing adding. These are for when the originals have gone soft.
How do I know they need replacing?
The loader gets louder. A full M12 that has started to rattle on the move is the usual sign, and it happens gradually enough that people often do not notice until they hear a new one.
Will it make the loader quieter than new?
No, it restores it. Fresh silicone brings back the dampening the loader had when you bought it and no more than that.
My loader is jamming, will this fix it?
Not likely. Jamming and slipping point at the internals or a mis-set clutch, so the parts rebuild kit is the one to look at. Describe the symptom to us and we will say which you need.
