PolarStar Kythera Trigger Link — the part that actually connects your trigger to the engine. V2 and V3 versions, for the mechanical Kythera platform.

The Kythera runs no electronics, which is its great strength — and it means the connection between your finger and the valve is entirely mechanical. The trigger link is that connection. It is what translates a trigger pull into a shot.

Being a mechanical part under repeated load, it is also a wear item. A worn or damaged link gives you a vague or inconsistent trigger, which on a semi-focused DMR build is precisely the thing you bought a Kythera to avoid.

Two versions: V2 for M4 and M16 gearboxes, V3 for AK. Match it to your engine variant.

Good to know before you buy

Match the version to your Kythera engine — V2 for M4 and M16 gearboxes, V3 for AK. They are not interchangeable.

If your Kythera trigger has become vague or inconsistent, this is the first part to look at before assuming the engine is at fault.

Frequently asked questions

What does the trigger link do?
On a mechanical engine there is no solenoid or wiring — the trigger link physically connects your trigger to the valve. It is the whole trigger mechanism.

Which version do I need?
V2 for M4 and M16 gearboxes, V3 for AK. Match it to your Kythera variant.

Is it a wear part?
It is a mechanical component under repeated load, so yes. A vague or inconsistent trigger on a Kythera is often the link rather than the engine.

Can you fit it?
Yes — it is engine work and we do it on the bench.

Running HPA: always feed an engine through a secondary regulator and never connect it directly to a tank output. Check the rated pressure before setting a regulator, and chronograph to your site limit before playing.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: see the Kythera engine it fits. We are an HPA tech centre and fit, tune and chronograph these in the workshop, or message us on WhatsApp.
