Quick reaction force is a fair description of what this length is for. A 245 mm barrel and a compact receiver mean you can clear a doorway without leading with the muzzle, and you can bring it onto a target inside a room rather than discovering the wall first.
The engine is a PolarStar JACK, fitted before it ships. On a short gun that choice matters more than it does on a long one: an air engine has no motor to wind up, so the shot leaves when your finger moves, which is the whole point at close range. Semi and full auto, with an adjustable trigger pull.
Everything around it is built to take knocks — an M-style shell in nylon and polymer, a non-slip grip, a batwing handle you can find with a glove on, ambidextrous selector, and folding polymer sights that drop out of the way of an optic. A 220-round M4 mid-cap is included and standard M4 AEG magazines fit.
Black or black and tan, and the pair are identical apart from the finish.

Good to know before you buy
A short barrel is more sensitive to hop setup than a long one, because the BB spends less time under the rubber. It is the first place worth spending if your groups open up.
You still need the air side: tank, regulator and line, plus a little LiPo on a JST plug for the engine electronics.
Indoor sites usually run a lower energy limit than woodland, and on air that is a regulator setting rather than a spring change — which is one of the better arguments for an air gun if you play both.
The barrel figure here is the one the supplier publishes for this model. Poseidon reuse a single specification block across the whole Punisher+ family, so figures quoted elsewhere for the longer bodies are worth treating with suspicion.
Black and tan is the option to pick without a defence in place.
Frequently asked questions
How short is it really?
The barrel is 245 mm. That is carbine territory rather than pistol, so it still shoulders properly and still takes a full-size magazine.
Does it come with the air gear?
No. The rifle and a 220-round magazine are what is in the box; the tank, regulator, line and battery are separate. Our HPA accessories cover the fittings.
Why pick this over the full-length Punisher+?
Handling indoors and in tight woodland. If most of your game is open ground, the longer body gives you a better sight radius and there is nothing wrong with it.
Will it do full auto?
Yes, and semi as well, with an adjustable pull. Rate of fire on an air engine moves with pressure, so it is something you tune rather than a fixed number.
Can the engine be swapped or upgraded later?
The JACK is a well-supported platform with nozzles and parts available separately through our PolarStar range. Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will say what is worth doing.
