The Hi-Capa's nozzle spring controls how quickly the nozzle returns to battery after each shot — directly affecting feed reliability and the speed at which you can fire successive shots. Stock nozzle springs are a known weak point on the platform: they lose tension over time and skirmish use, and a tired nozzle spring is one of the most common causes of feeding inconsistency on an older Hi-Capa.

Waldo's Ion Nozzle Spring runs higher tension than the factory part — the nozzle snaps back to battery faster and more consistently, which keeps feeding reliable even under fast-cycling use. The slick friction-reducing coating is the standard Ion finish: it minimises wear on the spring itself and on the surfaces it contacts, extending the service life of both the spring and the surrounding parts.
