DYE i5 Copper and Brass Urban Camo - Limited Edition

Limited colourways on an i5 are a straight swap of shell finish, strap and ear pieces. The protection, the fit and the optics are the production mask, so you are choosing this one on looks and on scarcity rather than on performance.

What you get underneath is DYE’s v11.5 mask body: more coverage than the generation before it without picking up weight or bulk, and sized to keep the low profile the i-series is bought for. The foam is the soft-touch multi-layer set, and it comes off without tools when it eventually packs down.

The GSR Pro strap is the piece most people notice first. A dial on the back closes the mask onto your face by an even amount, and the oversized head pad spreads that load rather than concentrating it on a strip of webbing, so the mask stays where you put it.

Is it different from a standard i5 in any way that matters on the field?
No. The shell, the strap, the foam and the lens fitment are the production standard DYE i5. The difference is the finish.

Will it be restocked when it sells through?
Limited colourways are built in a run and then dropped from the line. We can only sell what we were allocated, so treat it as a one-off rather than something to come back for.

Which lenses go in it?
The same ones as every i4 and i5 — the i4/i5 thermal lenses range, clear through to the mirrored finishes.

Can I still get spare foam for it?
Yes. Foam is sold by mask generation rather than by colourway, so the i5 foam kit fits.

Does the camo finish mark more easily than a plain shell?
We have nothing from DYE either way, and we would rather say that than guess. It is the same shell material as the rest of the line.
