Electronic protection without the comms tax. Ambient pickup so you still hear the game, sub-millisecond suppression when the pyro goes off, and no downlead to snag.

An integrated DSP chipset watches what reaches the cups and reacts in under a millisecond, clamping anything above roughly 82 dB and leaving the rest alone. A thunderflash lands as a thud rather than a crack, and the conversation either side of it carries on at normal volume.

The pickup works the other way too. Quiet sounds are amplified, so footsteps on leaf litter and a marshal calling from thirty metres both arrive clearly — often more clearly than with nothing on your head at all. That is the real argument for electronic ear-pro in airsoft: it is an awareness upgrade that happens to protect your hearing.

Everything runs off one control. The rotary knob combines power and volume, so there is no menu and nothing to learn with gloves on. At 295 grams it is light enough to forget about, and the cups are slim enough to sit under most eye-pro straps without breaking the seal.

It is a certified product rather than a claimed one: tested to ANSI S3.19-1974 and EN 352-1:2020.

Frequently asked questions

How does this compare with the M300T? Bluetooth and ear pads. The M300T adds Bluetooth, three listening modes and gel cushions. Attenuation is identical — both sit at SNR 29 / NRR 22 on Earmor's own chart.

Can I plug a radio into it? No. The M300A has no comms port. For a headset that carries team comms you want the M32 Plus with a NATO PTT.

Will it mount to a helmet? Earmor's 2026 catalogue lists the M11, M12 and M13 rail kits against the M33, while their own shop describes them for the M31 and M32. The M300 series is not named in either list, so check the cup fitting before ordering a mount — we would rather say that than guess.

Which colour is which? Earmor name them Tactical Black, Coyote Brown and Foliage Green. Our Tan is Coyote Brown; our Olive is Foliage Green.

⚠ Suppression is not silence. Electronic ear-pro clamps the peak, it does not remove it. Sustained real-steel fire wants the higher passive rating of an M300L, or doubled-up protection.
