Light gun, light air draw, so a small bottle goes further. A 150mm barrel and a 60 to 140 psi engine window mean the Article I is not thirsty, which matters when the bottle is on your belt. Quicksilver was a limited run finish.

Short barrels use less air than long ones, and the Article I has one of the shortest inner barrels in the range at 150mm. Combined with an engine happy anywhere between 60 and 140 psi, that lets you run lower pressure and get more out of a small bottle, which is the whole point on a gun built to be carried light.

The air still has to be regulated. The engine is a blacked-out INFERNO Gen 2 with Heretic Labs programming, it wants 60 to 140 psi at the input, and the output lands somewhere between about 0.8 and 1.65 joules depending on where you set it. Rate of fire is separate and adjustable from 5 to 35 rounds a second.

Everything else is standard Article I — a skeletonised billet receiver with a CNC feed tube, a carbon fibre outer barrel, a CNC speed trigger with binary fire, and 0.95kg with no stock, no buffer tube and no charging handle. Quicksilver was a special, not a catalogue colour.

What size bottle suits it? A small bottle is viable on a gun this light, and we are happy to talk sizes against how you play.

Can I run it at the bottom of the pressure range? 60 psi is the stated floor. Lower pressure generally means less air per shot, so it is worth finding your lowest usable setting.

Do I need a regulator? Yes, always. Tank pressure must never reach the engine.

Is Quicksilver still made? It was a limited run, so what exists is what exists.

Same internals as the black one? Yes. Finish is the only difference.
