The risk with a boutique gun is that you own something nothing else fits. The Article I avoids that by being MTW-Spec from the start — the same standard the whole Wolverine MTW range uses, which means a very large parts shelf rather than a proprietary one.
In practice that means the engine, the hop chamber, the inner barrel and the outer barrel are all things you can change later, and a good number of real-steel AR components bolt straight on. If you outgrow the 150mm barrel it comes with, the Heretic Labs carbon fibre outers are a direct swap.
As it ships: a blacked-out INFERNO Gen 2 with Heretic Labs programming and binary fire, 60 to 140 psi in, 5 to 35 rounds a second, roughly 0.8 to 1.65 joules out, and 0.95kg on a skeletonised billet receiver. Goblin Green is a special finish, so it will not be around indefinitely.

Good to know
MTW-Spec cuts both ways in a useful sense: parts you buy for this gun will also fit an MTW later, so nothing you spend on it is stranded if you change platform within the range.
Frequently asked questions
What does MTW-Spec actually cover? Engines, hop-up bodies and inner barrels across the Wolverine range, plus a lot of real-steel AR furniture.
Can I put a longer barrel on it? Yes. The Heretic Labs carbon fibre outers come in several lengths and all fit.
Could I upgrade the engine later? The platform takes MTW-Spec engines, so the upgrade path exists. Whether a given engine suits this body is worth asking us first.
Will Goblin Green come back? It was a limited run, so treat it as a one-off rather than something to wait for.
Is the spec different from the standard finish? No. Same gun throughout.
