The Alpha SBR is the result of a collaboration between Arcturus (the rifle builder) and GATE (the world leader in airsoft electronics). What Arcturus has done that nobody else has done before is integrate GATE's flagship PULSAR D dual-solenoid HPA engine and TITAN II Bluetooth FCU into a production rifle at the factory, with engine calibration, cycle synchronisation, and trigger tuning completed before the box is sealed. For UK customers used to assembling HPA builds from individual parts, this is a different proposition entirely — an HPA rifle that arrives ready to play.
The PULSAR D is a closed-bolt, dual-solenoid HPA engine. Closed-bolt means a BB is already seated in the hop when you pull the trigger, so the BB leaves the barrel the instant the solenoid fires — no nozzle travel, no feeding pause, just instant response. Dual solenoid means the loading and firing strokes are controlled independently, giving the TITAN II app fine control over dwell, trigger response, and rate-of-fire from 1 to 40 RPS. The factory tune is calibrated for around 400 FPS on a 0.20g BB; the adjustment range stretches from 250 FPS for ultra-CQB up to 650 FPS for sniper roles, all from the same engine using only input pressure changes.
TITAN II Bluetooth is what makes the Alpha SBR a smart rifle rather than just a powerful one. The GCS app on your phone gives you binary trigger mode, programmable burst lengths, semi-ramping, adjustable trigger sensitivity, and live ROF telemetry — all changeable on the firing line without tools. The rifle also features functional bolt catch sensors and a magazine-removed lockout, so the realism is hardware-deep, not just cosmetic. You can even pair a smartwatch as a remote trigger.
The hardware is genuinely premium. Aluminium alloy receiver, 8-inch M-LOK aluminium handguard, ARCTURUS RS rotary hop-up with reinforced polymer construction, ARCTURUS AR MOD1 30/130-round variable-capacity magazine included, and an ABUS folding back-up sight set in the box. The rifle is 625–710mm overall, 2500g, and runs on a 7.4V LiPo stick battery that hides inside the buffer tube via a Deans connector (battery and HPA tank purchased separately).
