Wolverine Airsoft MTW-308 XBR

The MTW-308 takes the MTW platform into designated marksman territory. Where the standard M4 MTW uses standard M4 AEG magazines, the MTW-308 accepts SR-25 AEG magazines, giving it the visually and functionally correct SR-25/M110 format for DMR builds. It is semi-automatic only by firmware design, which reinforces its role as a precision marksmanship platform rather than a general-purpose rifle.

Built on the same MTW-Spec platform as the M4 MTW — same Intrinsic Alignment, same INFERNO Gen 2 engine (or XTS on XBR/Unleashed trim), same full MTW-Spec parts compatibility. The longer barrel and SR-25 magazine format change the role; the performance architecture is the same proven system.

Semi-automatic only: The MTW-308 runs dedicated 308 firmware that sets the default fire mode to semi-automatic. This is intentional for DMR-class use and enforces the precision engagement role of the platform. Full-auto mode is not available on the 308 firmware.

The XBR designation means INFERNO XTS, BLINC Bluetooth FCU, and QUAKE MTW Recoil — the complete upgrade package on the 308 platform. INFERNO XTS delivers improved consistency and the dedicated QUAKE recoil port. BLINC allows wireless dwell, RPS, and fire mode adjustment via smartphone. QUAKE adds felt recoil on every semi-auto shot.

Note on QUAKE with semi-auto DMR: QUAKE is optimised for 5–15 RPS cyclic fire. On a semi-auto DMR being fired at deliberate paced intervals, QUAKE provides strong single-shot recoil feedback that significantly enhances the realism and satisfaction of precision shooting. This is one of the strongest use cases for QUAKE in the entire MTW range.
