Two things separate this from the billet guns, and neither is performance. The first is the receiver: real AR-15 forgings in 7075, machined afterwards to Wolverine's HPA spec, which brings a forward assist, a removable trigger guard and an ambidextrous selector on steel paddles.
The second is the electronics, and it is the detail most people miss. The Standard trim runs a Gen 2 Premium FCU, which is a standalone fire control unit wired to a separate trigger board — two parts doing two jobs. The billet guns use a Spartan board, which is both in one. The Premium route is more to install and more to understand, and it is also the one you can replace a half of.
The rest is deliberately plain. An Invictus Advanced rail with an MS-1 flash hider, a steel dust cover, an A2 grip and a standard stock, over a 285mm inner behind a 10.3-inch outer. It is the forged chassis without the furniture bill.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Gen 2 Premium FCU? A standalone fire control unit that connects to a separate trigger board, rather than the all-in-one board the billet guns use. Wolverine describe it that way themselves.
Is the forged receiver better? Different, not better. Forging aligns the grain of the aluminium the way real AR-15s are made; billet is cut from solid. In airsoft service both are far beyond what the gun sees.
Can I move it to BLINC later? Yes. It is MTW-Spec, so the electronics, the engine and the furniture all change out without replacing the receiver.
What does the ambidextrous selector give me? A steel-paddled selector on both sides, which the billet guns do not list. Useful if you shoot left-handed or transition shoulders.
Which magazines? Most M4/M16 AEG magazines. Empty-mag detection and the bolt catch work with Wolverine's own.
