PolarStar F2 — dual solenoid, with independent control of nozzle and poppet. The tuning depth that separates a competitive build from a good one.

Every HPA engine gives you consistency. What separates them is how much of that consistency you can shape to your own build, and the F2 is PolarStar’s answer for people who want to shape a great deal of it.

The dual-solenoid design is what makes that possible. Where a single-solenoid engine ties nozzle and poppet timing together, the F2 controls them independently — so you can adjust air volume and bolt timing separately rather than accepting whatever compromise a single solenoid imposes. That is what lets you push rate of fire without losing air efficiency or consistency.

In practice it means a rifle that can be set up precisely for one job. A high rate of fire for close quarters, or maximum efficiency and shot-to-shot consistency for longer engagements, from the same engine.

Three variants: V2 M4/M16, V3 AK and M249 for support builds.

Good to know before you buy

The step up from the JACK is tuning depth rather than raw reliability — both are dependable. Take the F2 if you intend to actually use the independent control; if you want to fit it and forget it, the JACK does that for less.

You will need a tank, regulator, line, battery and FCU. Select the correct gearbox variant before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

What does dual solenoid actually give me?
Independent control of the nozzle and poppet. A single-solenoid engine ties their timing together; the F2 lets you tune air volume and bolt timing separately, which is where the performance headroom comes from.

Is it worth it over the JACK?
If you will use the tuning, yes. If you want a reliable conversion you set once and leave, the JACK is the sensible choice and costs less.

Which variant do I need?
V2 for M4 and M16, V3 for AK, or the M249 version for that platform. Confirm with us if you are unsure.

Do I need a specific nozzle?
Yes, matched to your gearbox. PolarStar use a numbered system — tell us your rifle and we will identify it.

Can you set it up for me?
Yes, and with an engine this tunable it is worth having done properly. We fit, tune and chronograph in the workshop.

Running HPA: always feed an engine through a secondary regulator and never connect it directly to a tank output. Check the rated pressure before setting a regulator, and chronograph to your site limit before playing.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: add the correct nozzle, an HPA tank and a regulator. We are an HPA tech centre and fit, tune and chronograph these in the workshop, or message us on WhatsApp.
